Dr. Harshi Mathur was born in New Delhi, India where she graduated from the University of Delhi with her MBBS. She later traveled to the Middle East and worked at a general practice there. After moving to Calgary, she completed her Family of Medicine training at the University of Calgary in 2008. She joined the Pineridge Medical Clinic in 2008, and in 2010 became the medical director for the clinic. Dr. Mathur speaks fluently in English, Hindi and understands Punjabi.
Dr. Mathur is especially interested in prenatal care, diabetes, hypertension, depression and anxiety patients. She believes that stress is one of the major causes of health issues and that relaxation on a daily basis and a balanced lifestyle can reduce the amount of stress. When Dr. Mathur is not working, she can be found practicing yoga and staying healthy.
Dr. Shergill was born and raised in Punjab, India where she received her MBBS at MAHE University in Karnataka. She moved to Calgary in 2001 and completed her Family of Medicine training at the University of Calgary in 2007. Dr. Shergill then joined the Pineridge Medical Clinic in 2009. She can speak fluently in English, Punjabi and Hindi and can understand Urdu. She also works at the Northeast Women’s Clinic and has worked extensively as a Hospitalist at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary.
Dr. Shergill is especially interested in women’s care. She believes that all women should care for themselves so they can offer the best they have to their community and the rest of the world. During her downtime, Dr. Shergill enjoys spending time with her family and friends, keeping active and trying out new adventures.
Dr. Kers was raised in Calgary and studied abroad receiving his Medical Degree from the University of Zagreb in Croatia, Europe. When Dr. Kers moved back to Calgary he completed his Family of Medicine training at the University of Alberta in 2011. Following this he joined the Pineridge Medical Clinic team in 2011. Dr. Kers can speak fluently in English and Croatian. He also spends time working at the Mosaic Primary Care Network Pain Management Clinic.
You can find Dr. Kers in the office with his friendly smile and sense of humor. Outside of his job, Dr. Kers spends time with his family and enjoys traveling.
Sukh Mangat is a member of the Mosaic Primary Care Network and is a registered nurse specialized in chronic disease management. She sees patients every Wednesday with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, COPD etc. If you would like to see Sukh for any of these issues, please speak with a physician at the clinic.
Pervaiz Sabir is our friendly pharmacist that will be there to assist you with your prescription and any concerns you have about your medication.
